So it appears I will be moving. Wife has an oppurtunity to transfer within her company. Would put us in the Charlotte area. This could happen anytime between now and February.

Being my business is basically came to a crawl with this economy I figure why not. I gotta build it all back up next year anyhow.

How are things down there? You guys work year round? If I arrive in February and place my advertising should I at least get nibbles?

I basically only do fencing ,, well at least 98% anyhow.

I'd really like to hear your thoughts and suggestions on what to kinda expect down there.

We are looking in the Dallas area but my bread N butter will be Charlotte.

Work has been slow but there are signs that it is starting to pick up a little. The weather is such that you can work out side year around. It does get cold in the winter but not so much that you can't work.

Welcome to Charlotte

I'm just north of Dallas and the weather never really gets that bad in the winter. Business comes in waves lately; a few weeks solid then nothing for a few weeks. Good luck with the move. Dallas is a nice little podunk town.
