What I have found about this time of year is that if you are AVAILABLE you can get alot of work at YOUR price.
Last year about the first of november I sent out a bunch of faxes (about 1000) to general contractors and got alot of work at high prices. Infact 15% of the GC's I sent faxes to responded. Amazing really.
This year since I started my company in September, I have found that when I tell people I have two weeks lead time, instead of 6 that everyone else has, I get the job on the spot. The timing is more important than the price.
