Recently did some kitchen framing/beam work on a house for another contractor and while we were there they asked for a price to sister some joists in the mechanical room where the homeowner had done some boiler work.
What a hack, he didn't put the faceplates on the outlets!

It never ceases to amaze me how many homeowners seem to think that most lumber in a house is purely decorational.

This is what happens when you send dumbass new installers the don't understand anything about the product.

Glued the sub stone to the edge so it pulled the corner apart.

Decided to use the polisher to get the corners right - on printed porcelain.

The sub is now on the hook for a total replacement of the island, and a replacement for the small section to fix the gap by the cabinet.

Daum, that sucks.

Especially for him. But it will end up reflecting on you.

We will do it if homeowner wants it done.We told them he will need to remove everything and we will sister joists and he will have to run the venting underneath the joists.
