She is cool & has very little fear. She jumped on the tractor last night to get some chores done while I was mowing.

One tough wife you have there,:thumbsup: Hope she didn't get hit to hard though.

She can take a punch, that's for sure. We used to play coed softball in the early years of our marriage. We were playing a round robin tournament one night. Around 10 pm, our 3rd basemen (dude had a gun) shot a hot throw to her at first. Webbing broke on her glove & the ball went through & right into her upper lip. Split it open pretty bad. We had a doc on our team, so he put a butterfly bandage on it & she finished the game. We were sitting in the ER at midnight getting her stitched up.

I like the first version better.

She probably deserved it...:laughing:

I do, but she knows to stay clear.

Actually, she did, it happened before lunch & the job is in the middle of nowhere, so she packed our lunch.:laughing:

I think its cool you work with your wife. My wife has no interest in construction. She shakes her head and asks when im going to get a real job when I come home tired and wet (when it rains), often with something bleeding. :laughing:

It's taken a lot of years to smooth out the rough spots, but we've managed to figure out the formula to make it work well for us. Plus it keeps more of the profits in our own bank account. She's a hard worker & no one ever has issues paying her the same wages I'd bill for a man doing her job.

Pinwheel. From what I can tell, you've won (in the great game of living a good and happy life). Well done! I can do some projects with my wife, but I'm a major pain to work with day in and out (the main reason I run a 2 or three man crew, and that's it).

Yesterday, I was helping a friend move bags of ice in for his daughter's HS graduation party. He ribbed me about taking my time going out to the truck, and I told him "Keep talking like that and I'll beat you like my women." To which we both laughed because as a very good friend of me and my wife, he knew damned well that translated into "I will see what we need to get done, and talk to you about the best way to get it done." (all my friends and family love everything about Teri, but do have reservations about her selection in a husband. ;-) )

Reminds me. My son's roommate in college once broke her mother's nose. She was standing to close when he started the lawn mower for her.

I hate to tell this one on her, but she cracked herself in the head today. Same job, but I got the blame. I'd laid a 12x12x3/4 piece of hickory up on top of the beam. She was nailing down flooring directly under that piece of hickory & all her banging jostled it loose & it hit her in the back of the head.

I was running the tablesaw at the time & all the commotion nearly caused me to get my hand in the saw. Girls just an accident waiting to happen.

I tried with all my might not to laugh, but I just couldn't help it. I did wait to make sure she wasn't hurt too badly.

Many years ago, I was teaching a night school course for the Board of Education, called, Lady's Home Maintenance.
My Future wife had just bought her first condo, and realised that she knew squat about houses.
Long story short, whenever something needs to be done, she say's, I missed that class.
If I had employees like her, or if she would run my company, I would be a richer man.
Or single and unemployed. :laughing:

My wife was giving me crap on the job yesterday, so I wacked her upside the head with an 18 volt Dewalt impact driver.

It is an impact--at least you used the proper tool and didn't------drill her.:laughing:
