I noticed the last post in 2006 by jcllc mentioned a Bosch framing gun and staple gun. I didn't know they made them before their current lineup that started showing up last year.

It's been a light month. It was my wife's birthday a couple of weeks ago. Kinda blew my budget. Planning on making it up next week with a couple of compressors, though.

Hello
My name is Jim and I need help staying on the wagon. I went to the outdoor shop on the Navy Base today to see if they had any crazy good deals. They are blowing out Irwin, Milwaukee, and Makita SDS Max and Spline bits for between $17 and $27ea. From half " to at least 1 3/8" Coreing heads also. Some of them are the multipoint bits. I am Soooooo tempted to spend $300 on bits. This is a problem becuase if I spent that much on SDS Max or spline bits I would need to get another hammer drill or two since the two buldogs I have are SDS Plus. I need help!
Jim

Give in Jim, when Hilti changed the laser weld on their premium SDS+ imperial bits they sold them off at around 70-80% off....I bought every bit over 12" in length; cost me almost 400 dollars but in the long-run it was an excellent investment!

I know I'm going to do it but the kicker is the not haveing an SDS Max Drill part!

My name is Robert, I'm a toolaholic. Couldn't resist slipping into Menards and buying a new 2' level and 50 pack of Lenox Gold blades. I fully intend on binging this weekend at all of my local tool retailers and every lurking on Craigslist for a HO used Paslode Impulse framer.

I feel my loved ones are staging an intervention soon. :whistling:

My tools are complaining that my family is taking up to much room.

My tools hardly ever eat

I feel the need for more tools.

I'm Tyler I'm I'm addicted to buying tools. Having a blowes 5 mins from my house I'd detrimental to this addiction. And it's not the cheap items its always gotta be something big. Had to get something new while in Joplin so bed pliers, nothing to big (can't fit it in my luggage).

Ha! I thought I was alone because I will not leave a hardware store without a tool.

The last 5 years I have done what any recovering addict does. I toned down to simple hands tools. You would not believe how many tape measures, screwdrivers, hammers I now have.

Although I do slip and buy a spare drill (6), chop saw (4), table saw (2), from time to time :)

I'm addicted to compressors, framing nailers, makita lxt tools, makita 3ah batteries (just bought 6) anything occidental leather. As of late worm drives are my new addiction. New or vintage doesn't matter.
