Ordered a set of Zip poles finally. We have a lot of demo to do in the weeks after Christmas, so they will be put to use right away.

 

We have been on a little binge...time to slow it down and double check our year end status...then maybe one more binge...lol!

Of course Spencer and Travis really know how to go all out!

 

This time HILTI dumpty, took the final spill to many 5 story's to many.

HILTI rep. will replace it as it didn't break the casing just screwed every thing else up in the housing. Its nice as the warranty on the tool expired.

So I get a new impact and battery because he wanted the battery as well. No clue why as I told him the battery worked. The impact 50/50 if you smacked it a couple times.

 

I just placed an order for the Bosch PowerBox. Pretty stoked to finally get my own radio, and I got a decent deal on it. I also threw a new Klein tie wire wheel in the cart after wearing out my old one a few months back. :thumbsup:

 

You should but the Dewalt tough system radio, best radio on the market by far, the Bosch does come in second though.

 

I have both, the Dewalt is easily way batter then the Bosch. The Dewalt is better than even the Bose radio! Bigger than all of them but I don't mind, might even throw it on my shoulder like my old ghetto blaster from when I was a kid!

 

Good deal on clamps at HD. 9 pcs spring clamps for $6 and 6 pcs 6" f-clamps for $15. I went back for another 6 pack of f-clamps and picked up a 12g Ridgid cord.

 

I haven't used it yet but it runs great, 0-3,500 spm. Uses standard blades. I have a big Porter Cable but wanted something compact so I'd always have it with me. I was going to Harbor Freight to buy their small one for $30 but stopped into Lowes on the way out. It's better than what I was looking for...$60 on sale! Woohoo.

It's corded and has removable brushes.

 

I'm not a fan of Kobalt or owning propitiatory batterys that don't work with any of my other tools, but if it does the job then power to you!

This arrived today brand new in box from Ebay. I went with the impact driver instead of a drill or a ratchet. As shown using the bits it can be used as an angle drill and with a couple of adapters I already have can be a 1/4" or 3/8" driver for sockets of sorts. I have lots of air ratchets, and a small but powerful Snap-on 3/8" angle drill. This is going to be used for installing brackets and driving screws in tight places mostly. I have a box of Simpson screws to install for its test.

 

Do you mind telling my what battery in one brand will run another tool? They're all proprietary to the brand.

Does this battery only run that one tool? That would be stupid.

 

Yeah, my eye sight ain't what it used to be. I didn't see the cord, and thought it was a battery powered saw. What I was getting at is that I hate having more than 1 charger for cordless tools. I bought a makita set when I started and will stay with makita since all my coworkers can share batterys that way. No sense in getting a ryobi cordless circular saw when makita stocks one that uses the same batteries.

 

I have the dewalt tough radio and yup it rocks deep rich sound, can bluetooth the phone the pod and keep rocking in the free world lol and I too will not have the rest of the tough system I like my systainers. The radio is my top pick among the jobsite radios so far.

 

I had a bunch of boxes of tools show up today, I will have to post later though as I am getting ready to head to Star Wars with my boy

 

Just seeing Spencer spend money isn't any fun....had to do some year end. Got my employee an Omer 18 gauge and got this little guy for myself.

 

UPS arrived today!

 

One of mine has been doing something a little funky. It will shoot and then the led light will start blinking and the gun won't shoot again. But I can take the battery off and put it back on and it will shoot again just fine. Not sure what's up. Of coarse I threw the manuals away the second I opened the package when I got it.

Lol I see that and thought looks way better than my lowes bags I suck through. It's never failed me though and I gave run over 400feet with bags in commercial. Never more than 3" though so no idea how bags work above that size.

 

Spencer look at menards, they have the 15 gauge fusion on sale. I think the price was around one hundred dollars, might be wrong on price but the gun was cheap.
