I am doing an in-house design to replace some fire escape stairs and up grade two mezzanines to offices. My boss told me that i needed to creat a list of submitials that the contractor will have to provide us. I have come up with shop drawings for the stairs and landings, schedual of materials, and there are two others that i can't think of. I'm not at work:w00t:. anyways, what other things should i ask for?:whistling
thanks

Although there are a few accepted standard "submittals", no true, required submittals exist as a hard and fast rule. Submittals are no more than an exchange of informational understanding. If you want to know about something (anything) ask the contractor to submit some specific and/or esoteric information about it.
