I have a 2400 SF second level sunfllor to install. I am using 3/4" OSB T&G with the gray edging. can sombody give me the secret of geting the T&G tight together at the joint. as I cant get these things to push together .
contrary to popular belief. OSB is not supposed to be tight. If you read the spec you would know that 1/8" gap between edges is a proper install. How ever 3/16" at the t&g is my personal recommedation. Trust me you don't want to rent a floor sander because you thought you needed to re-invent the wheel. I also have found out that nailing 1-2 inches away from the t&g will save alot of head aches if swelling should arise.
