Hello everyone, just thought I would ask if anyone had ideas on crowning
cathedral ceilings, I can't seem to figure it out.
If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them, or if you have pics I would love to see them..Thanks,

If your talking about crown molding, fasten a 2 x 3 cleat to the wall and then nail the crown to it.

Gary Katz is really cool, I've seen him speak at a couple of workshops he seems real knowledgeable (is that a word?). As Gary probably showed, run the crown down the rake, but when you get to the bottom cut a wedge shaped piece to return to level. Depending on how steep the ceilling is you can run the lower crown w/o back cutting the top or building a soffit box or leave the top float :( Anyways Mr. Katz' site is probably more helpful, good luck.

Old world craftsmanship coming at you.
I handcarve certain transitions from paper templates made on site. I learned this from my father and still have his laptop bench. I can do this while watching TV at night. The Masters touch.
