Stress Relieving at different temperature in the furnace

1599 Views 2 Replies 3 Participants Last post by  ProWallGuy
I wanted to have different temperatures in different zones of the furnace.
This is because, the charge (a boiler) is placed in the furnace such that, the one end of the charge is only 5mm thick and the other end of the charge is 150mm thick. So, I wanted to keep a higher temperature in the zone which has 150 mm thickness and less in the 5mm zone.
The charge is one piece.
