Noticed thus at my local Town Hall. Sometimes I just don't get it.


I guess that was theirs interpretation of:
R311.7.7.2 Continuity. Handrails for stairways shall be continuous for the full length of the flight, from a point directly above the top riser of the flight to a point directly above lowest riser of the flight. :laughing:

The best part is, the concrete guy probably got paid a change order for the extra form work and finishing that it required.

Well... What's good for you (code), is not necessarily good for me (legislative protector)

Believe me, Obama care is good for you, it's just that we don't need nor want it (Congress).

I think it was someone's way of thumbing their nose at the clash of handicap requirements, codes and regulations.
