I've posted this in the wallpaper section but thought I would post it here as well.

I'm looking to buy a pasting machine and have been offered a 36" Storch pasting machine at a reasonable price. Problem is I've never heard of this brand, I was wondering how it compares to the other brands like Tapo, Paste master etc. I'm thinking this machine is at least 13 years old but used lightly and I know it's been taken care of. Are there issues I should be looking for? Thanks

Not at all familiar with this brand of paste machine but I think in general I would be looking at its ability to handle thicker paste. Is it gear driven? are the gears heavy duty? is there any binding? does the scraper bar have any adjustment and how easy is it to adjust?
Not sure what else to suggest. I would look at it from the point of view does it look heavy duty and rugged or light duty and flimsy. Sure it will be beat around in a van from job to job. Good luck.
