I'm helping instruct a stone sculpture class on Sat mornings. Last Saturday I lined up a tour of my buddies stone shop. Here's a few videos of his big boy toys.

Rockmonster. That saw looks about the same as the saw we had in the shop when I worked for the feds. For real soft sandstone like Ohio or St Bee or limestone like Indiana we could cut about 10"at a pass if we cut slow., 6-8" if we wanted to cut quicker. For marble we wouldn't cut more than 4-5" at a pass, and for granite it was more like 1-2" at a pass and always slow
