Those who wear sneakers while decking a roof what sneakers have you found grip the best? If you prefer boots do you find one kind of soul to be stickiest?

For sneakers Vans grip nice and for boots, anything with the Vibram sole seem to do well.

My Keens also grip nice along with my Cats...do not trust Sears DieHards, deadly on a roof!

For steel roofs, they have covers that have foam on the bottom. Works great. Just do a search. There are alot of options, these days.

I've had good experiences with Ariat and Redwing boots. Now that I think about it, I just installed a solatube last week wearing Timberland Pro pull ons and they were much better than expected. Hot as fire in the summer though. Generally the softer the sole the better. Back in the early 2000's I used K-Swiss all white tennis shoes with the super soft sole.
