I had been hoping to take care of this while they were out of town, but it didn't look like that will be an option.
I have to remove the existing railing, install new tread caps, then install the new railing. I'm figuring on about 3 days for that, and obviously I don't want to risk anyone falling while the work is being done.
Any input/ recommendations would be much appreciated
