I applied a coat of Stain-Crete (acid dye) to a 14 day old porch pour. As directed I left it overnight then flooded with water and went over the surface with a stiff brush, which took off excess dye. I let it dry but have a slight residue remaining. It’s cloudy and shows my boot prints. I repeated the brush process using dishwashing detergent, and then GreasedLightening concentrate in water. Neither cuts it. Obviously I want to remove the residue without getting into the stain. Any suggestions? I don’t want boot prints under the sealer.

Clean it once more and then seal a test patch to see if it's splotchy. If it looks good, seal the whole thing.
