When using man made stack stone around foundation up to where sideing begins when frameing floor do you leave the floor joist hanging over the block and if so how much over. I know the stack stone is not very thick and some I see around here just have metal flashing along the top with the walls not extending over the block. Thanks for any replies.

Man made stack stone??

I have never used man made stack stone, whatever that is, but I think I know where you're going. That is an architectural detail that should be on your plans. The siding is often plumb up from the stone face. But sometimes not. So you have siding, thickness of stone, type of rim joist, whether 2x or tji's to take into account. Then sometime there will be trim piece, maybe cedar, that will act as a drip when stone is proud of siding. There really is no hard rule for this-whatever stone it is. Go by the plans, or wing it. These are details that are usually figured out way before any wood arrives....good luck
