I've tried it before at a Graco product demonstration. It was under the supervision of a Graco representative though.

The set up he had was a Mark V though (i'm not saying that a Mark IV won't doi it).

I know that it requires a special spray tip and perhaps a special gun as well. The mud was thinned at around 20% with water.

The process was quite impressive. Very little to none overspray or bounceback. We didn't even need a respirator. I did only do maybe 75 sq ft so I didn't do it in production.

The short experience I had with it was good. Contact Graco about produce demos.

I did buy a mark 4 for skimming. I have not quite got it dialed in yet but it does work well. I have been spraying the jt on and troweling as I go. Beats loading a trowel and pushing a full one. You only need to add a 1/2 gallon of h2o to a five. It does shrink up quite a bit, so try to lay it on.
