I have a customer looking to finish a basement but they run a sump pump all year round. Could you spray the interior of an unfinished basement with closed cell polyurethane foam to cure a wet basement condition?
Inside drain tile or dig up the outside walls and repair the problem. If you go with inside drain tile don't attach anything to the foundation wall like framing, insulation, wires etc... In other words Keep air space so water can drain down between interior wall and foundation wall into the inside drain tile. Its always better to dig up from the outside and repair, but if the budget does not allow the inside drain tile works as long as you remind the owner that you are controlling the water not stopping the water
