I have a client that has a main panel of 200 AMP. There is a 125 AMP sub panel on it that goes to part of the house and a 80 AMP sub panel that feeds the swimming pool and some exterior lights.

The electrician I do work with out of town on vacation.

My question is: would it be O.K. to swap out the 80 AMP panel for a 125 AMP panel to gain a few more circuits and more Amp at the pool area?
Increasing the size of the existing wiring and conduit of course.
Is that bad practice?
Or would it be a better idea to install a 400 AMP service?

Not much info I know, sorry.
