I first saw an Elu one about 15-20 years ago

Crazy to see one being sold here. How's that pass the UK safety crap.

Knew a few chippys in UK who had the dewalt models. They like them. I never owned one me self.

Looking back I'm not sure how they got through the day having to keep switching the thing around. I couldn't use one.

 

Is or was Elu part of Dewalt ? The one I saw was an Elu owned by a guy from England over hear installing for Smallbone Cabinets.

 

Pretty cool, tip it to the left and you can rip a 45.

 

I believe Elu was bought by DeWalt. What most people over here have seen is the Elu router, which DeWalt rebranded as their own.

I saw one of these about 10 years ago. Just today I was wishing I had one. Had 3 cuts to make and 2 rips.
I could get by without a small miter saw, but I would love to have an extra small table saw.

 

It looks like a floor installers dream.

 

So you have to pick up a table saw everytime you use the miter saw?
