The old tile was grouted with TEC unsanded CAULK  delorian grey. It has held up well, so I think I will try the same.... I plan on dumping out several tubes misting the tile, and filling with a new float......I would really hate to scratch it..

Is there something you're not telling us? :whistling J/K
I'm just a typical internet creep trying to enjoy my work.

Seriously though, working with that metallic stuff was like cleaning up after my 12 y/o girl's glitter clothes. I had sparkle/glitter all over! I even had to sand the wall a bit. It had remnants of sparkles too

It may have been awhile since I have installed sparkley grout, that don't mean I have forgotten why I try to not suggest it.

These strange tile jobs are coming out of the woodwork. I spoke to a HO yesterday that wants this http://www.cooltiles.com/vidfotolumi.html .

Needless to say he is a bit "Flamboyant"

118 sq. ft. on the walls with a 4" x 4" cobalt blue floor tile.

At least it dosent change color with body temp or shower heat like the old mood rings:w00t:

By the way the "grouting" went fairly well (better than I had expected) I will try to post some finished pic's.... the only pain was the "secret" drawer 6" tall 24" deep 38" wide full extension drawer with a seamless tile face:rolleyes:
to makde the grout joint lift free i took some scotch tape and stuck it to my jeans to make it alot less sticky, and taped the backer and tile of the surrounding (the drawer face) area and "grouted" when it all dried the un sticky tape gave way like i had hoped and stuck to the caulk leaving a "grouted" joint/seam stuck to the drawer tile. i will make a vid of another one as i promised the Owner i wouldnt show theirs.
