The sides of this coping row on my retaining wall show grooves... and the HO is bothered by them (they don't look that bad, only like 1 by 2 CM grooves). Its because I have 5 or 6 step downs in the wall, and you can see it at each step down from the side. Anyway, whats the best way to patch or veneer that? I was thinking if patch, either cement (hopefully that matches this Beechwood color decent), or mortar mix? What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance.
