I am sure this was covered many times but I would like to hear how some of you do the seat. We just gutted out a 30 year old bathroom. In place of the tub, a new tile shower is going in with fiberglass pan, mud base and tile on walls and floor. My question is - does the seat have to be built out of lumber, then glassed, then tiled and so on or has anyone installed a thick piece of granite into a 90 degree corner. I was thinking that it would look more streamlined, make cleaning poss. easier, etc. If you have, do you just inlet it into the durarock and tlle and possible set it into a bed of thinset, etc. Anyway, that was a long way of asking for imput from all of you. Thanks in advance. BTW-size of shower is 36x60
