I'm installing a new shower base and drain... The new drain fitting has a rubber sleave on the inside that slips over the two inch drain pipe that connects to the p-trap.
Do I need to apply silicone to the inside of the rubber flange (it fits tight enough that I need to apply soap to slide it over the two inch pipe) or is the tight fit enough to prevent leaks?
Thanks in advance,
laz
