I have had no dealings with Shaw laminate. But I imagine the milling must not be the best if that kind of stuff is happening.

I hope others chime in on this one.

Are they end gaps? It's becoming common to add a little glue to the end joints to stop gapping. I'm not sure about Shaw though. How big are the gaps?

Gaps are not that big but they keep coming back in all the traffic and pivot areas. It is just the butt joints or end gaps .

If we could get someone fron Shaw to return out calls and tell us to glue we would.

Shaw is horrible as far as quality.

These Chinese companies cant match German durability so for an example 8.0mm laminate to get the same hardness, China has to do 8.4 or some crap like that...

My one and only job with Shaw the boards were warped...it was interesting trying to click em together. Couple of weeks later the customer had a pipe burst in the kitchen (dono how) but yea, about 2 or 3 hours of exposure to water and the floor was ruined.
