The new tower that was sinking. It looks like the fix may be making it sink more from sfgate.com

Engineers are sharpening their pencils on how to get the piles in without causing more sinking.

Looks like standard engineering calculations aren't working out too well.

Maybe they should watch this video!

It couldn't hurt. That engineer drilled holes to get it to settle a little less tilted, the SFO engineer drilled holes on the lie side in preparation for putting in piles, and it settled to that side......

More than half of the piles are already in. Maybe they shouldn't have waited this far into the process to get that side suppported.
