I'm considering building a barn on my property. How do I seal the barn door so that when closed shut there's no critters/bugs etc getting in? The barn will not be for animals but used as a shop/storage/lawnmower/utility building.
Barn is old, and posts are not plumb. Door hangs 2 to 3 inches out at bottom to inch at top. I clamp em tight to posts in winter time. Bolt em together at meeting rail for winter as well. They get a lot of wind pressure, esp when OH Door at opposite end is open. Thanks for the answer. I would like to keep the looks of the pole barn doors. What is the gap between the sliding door and the wall?
I adopted a feral cat a few years ago. Keeps the rodents away. Also kills rattlesnakes. Only problem is, I am a cat owner.I'm in Georgia. I'd hate to know that rodents find a way to use the barn with no rent. I might need to have both rollup and classic barn doors. Thanks anyway.
