I am looking at a job that will require the construction of a catch basin on top of a concrete floor. The option is either concrete poured or concrete block.
I would prefer concrete block. I have heard that there is a gasket material that can be put between the lower row and the floor to provide a water tight seal but I can find no info on same.
Anyone know of this product?

It will be a 2 row 8" wall 100 feet long with 6 corners, longest wall 23'.

Thanks for any info on this.

You are probably thinking of bentonite. It comes in rolls for applications something like yours. I have not used it in years, but look into that. Amazing product, but it's expansive properties can limit it's use. Check it...
