Hey there!
So I'm on a job where we have ripped up the old hardwood and there is 3/4" tongue and groove planks running diagonally across the floor joists. I am going to put down some 1/2" plywood over it and my question is should I screw down the old 3/4" stuff into the joists now to eliminate squeaks or is it fine to go through both materials at once into the joists? Thanks!
