Anyone ever tried Grabber's Scavenger head drywall screws? The head shape is just slightly different from the usual bugle heads. They claim that it reduces burrs created by the screws. I saw them in their catalog a while back but didn't think much of it until this past weekend when I saw several burrs from the screws. Not a big deal, but I'm curious.

Ok, just looked them up. I have several boxes in supply, will have to see what I have. I know I've used them,I remember that extra ''rim'' on them.

But I know with most boards being recycled paper that those burrs are a pain to finish over.

It's been a long while since I have used any. We would occassionaly use them hanging over steel studs. You are right about the heads....they look like automotive double angled valves.
