Saw Stand

Bosch gravity rise is pretty sweet. Have not used one, but it is on the list.

I would stay away from the pm5000. My buddy has the pm 7000 its pretty flimsy. I think the new ones are rebranded craftsman.

We have a Ryobi saw stand at work, and I really like it. about $99 at HD

For the money, that is a damn good stand. No bells and whistles but real sturdy .

I'm using a Trojan MS2000 miter saw stand and its pretty sweet. The wings extend up to 13' and it all folds up to make a cart with 10" wheels for those larger miter saws.

A little pricey at around $400 new, but you can find them for cheaper on craigslist.

I'm currently using the Rigid and very pleased with it.Looks a lot sturdier than most and has handles after it fold up and a small tray for a pencil and square and such.

I've had the Bosch Gravity Rise stand for about a month and am really happy with it.

I was worried about the strength of the material supports when fully extended but it wasn't a problem with a 10' PT 2x12 on one side.

Had the Dewalt, liked it alot, you can get rollers and a bunch of accessories for it. Went with the Bosch Gravity rise last year and fricken love it! Wheel it where you want it, flip the handle and stand it up. Extensions work well and would not trade it for anything at this point, it is expensive but would buy it again easily.

Have been using the Trojan for at least 15 years. Always works. The legs don't latch too well when closed. You will only notice when trying to load and unload it. Maybe they have changed that since I bought mine.

They have a catch that works, more or less. I find that a mini bungee works better.

I run that self-same saw on a FastCap Best Fence.

I two additional pieces of the extruded aluminum that are easily attached to those that come with the stand, and are stabilized with Third Hand tripods.

I don't have the pro model that comes with wheels, however, removing the saw and breaking it down actually require less space, in the back of my truck, to move it.

Perhaps, it's not the best setup for everyone, but I really like it

Dewalt stand is pretty nice. I made some quick extensions for it. Not all that pretty, but they work really well. The stand is almost 8 years old. It still does what it's supposed to.

I have the same setup with a DW716. The only thing I do not like is the tool mount brackets. I have had 2 of the release levers break. Very rugged stand overall though.

Yes, goes to site for large trim jobs, or kitchen installs.
Working on getting a trim only miter saw.

My trailer carries all my other stuff .
No room for it in there,

Trailer is a 20 ft full to the max. Pictures to follow.

I think City Decks had a nice setup with the mini dewalt, kapex, with the best fence. When ever i buy another stand it will be the mini with the out riggers.

It's been a great stand. It's super light, So far brackets have held up. That's going to change since you said something lol.

I want to make something out of azek for extensions. The plywood I used for some reason didint like spending its life in the rain an snow.. Who would of thought. Lol

My buddy took my crappy idea to his cnc. He made some nice extensions on a ryobi stand he loves it. He's full of himself so I don't think he will mind if I post a link lol.
