Is there a way to prevent the valve stems from dry rotting on all my trailers? It's ridiculous that it seems that nearly every trailer I own has rotten valve stems and thus slowly leak.

Last time I went to fill one the valve stem cracked off and left with me with a flat.

I'm wondering if there is a preventative measure or something.

Normally if the valve stems are rotten then the tires are not far behind. Actually it is normall the other way around, this is why valve stems should be replaced when the tires are replaced  . I have never actually seen a bunch of valve stems go bad in all the years i have wrenched on cars. Once in a blue moon maybe a valve stem goes bad but never a couple or more on the same vehicle.
