Yet thought I'd share how easy we have it in Australia with our roofing. This is zinc coated corrugated metal roofing. It's a super simple flat roof were replacing for insurance as a tree blew onto it. I've spent ages looking at all the posts on here and can't believe how complex your roof systems are I.e shingles steep pitch, insulation etc and understand it's too do with the climate. Over here this material is our most common (it's available pre coated too a range of colours) and used on 90% of buildings with the exception of some tiled roofs. If you notice there's still a few dips in the roof that were preexisting (poor framing)

We're yet too get running water in our parts but I've heard from someone who comes from the big city that yes that is true.

wow...wonders of traveling....we did our ag buildings that way ...25 years ago. Is there no demand for higher grade products ? even just for curb appeal ? how is the real estate market there ? certainly not being critical of your work...whatever the market demands, you should provide. thanks
