Yet thought I'd share how easy we have it in Australia with our roofing. This is zinc coated corrugated metal roofing. It's a super simple flat roof were replacing for insurance as a tree blew onto it. I've spent ages looking at all the posts on here and can't believe how complex your roof systems are I.e shingles steep pitch, insulation etc and understand it's too do with the climate. Over here this material is our most common (it's available pre coated too a range of colours) and used on 90% of buildings with the exception of some tiled roofs. If you notice there's still a few dips in the roof that were preexisting (poor framing)
