I too wonder how well they work, but I bought a vibra screed.....it sits in the shed, and we use a board with handles like we did for 30 years.

Joasis,

Why don't you use your vibra screed?

Wacko,

You should talk about how wide of pours you want to do, and how long I suppose. I don't have any experience with the roller type, but I think they would be even better than a vibra screed for wider pours and would allow you to use lower slump concrete.

I've never had reason to go wider than 16' and a vibra screed on an alu board was fine for that.

i was thinking all pours. less trouble than a truss screed and they apparently leave the aggrigate just below the surface and easier to assemble. plus they take up less space. i thinkin of using it for sidewalks to up to 30 foot pours. or is a slipformer the way to go for sidewalks
