Can anyone offer their opinions on "full Flow" ridge vents made by Headrick. The filtered model flows 17.7 cfm/ft and the unfiltered model flows 29.4 cfm/ft. This installation would be for Raleigh, NC. Does anyone know of any issues with rain or snow infiltration with either models? 29cfm is the preference, but not if it is likely to allow snow or rain in.

Thanks for any recommendations.

....or insects, or small birds.....

I would use the filtered and just use more of it, or if necessary use another type of venting to get the required cfm.
