reviews of 3M panels on trailers holding up?

I'm looking to pick up a trailer and like the look of the 3M VHB bonding system for attaching the metal on cargo trailers (vs screws every 6").

Has anyone here had experience with this system?

When I was looking I heard they that didn't do well with stuff hanging on the walls like ladders and cabinets. My carmate dealer said they don't use that system on their contractor edition because of this. I'm sure there's some guys on here who have that system in their trailer and can let you know if they are holding up.

There are many recreational vehicles that use that system with no problems. No oil canning of the aluminum at all.

BCC- with the 3m system it is to attach the outer skin to the ribs. It is a really sticky adhesive that holds it together. There is still plywood on the inside.
It is not the fiberglass skin with no ribs, which needs a frame in order to attach anything to it

Yeah he showed me a sample piece he had there. His reason its not as strong is because of the shear forces when the walls are loaded up and ladder rack loaded up. I guess sticky tape can only support so much.

I personally don't think its a problem as all my cabinets are sitting on the floor in trailer anyway. I couldn't have got it on this model even if I wanted to anyway. I was worried about stickers going on the trailer but my sign guy got them on with no issue. I think you will be fine with either one.
