Forget those plastic connectors, and buy a crimping tool, I think I lonely paid $45 for mine.
I'm the last guy to tell you you're an idiot and go hire a plumber. I am also as broke as sh!t and trying to fix the house. We fixed all the plumbing and replaced ti with PEX earlier this year. I replaced the bad copper with pex and used Sharkbites because I was too cheap to buy the crimper. Then we had a hard long freeze and it blew most of them and I had to redo it.I'll go with the crimp then. Thanks for the advice and not telling me I'm an idiot and go hire a plumber.
Get a plumber, because there is no one to blame but yourself if something goes wrong :laughing:Forget those plastic connectors, and buy a crimping tool, I think I lonely paid $45 for mine.
If rather be blaming myself then try to track down a plumber that dropped of the face of the earthgreg24k said:Get a plumber, because there is no one to blame but yourself if something goes wrong
Wish I could but it's cpvc. I'm set on the drilling aspect just wasn't sure on the fittings.rotarex said:gut the copper out of your house, sell it and with the money you can buy a pro crimper, hose and fittings also you would need a drill with a 5/8" bore bit. to drill through joist and studs
