Hey!
This is a question for you east coast painters. I have a friend in Pennsylvania who is experiencing some black mold on the lower level of the house in the basement. I know the logical solution is to pull in a back hoe and remove all the dirt down to the foundation and seal everything below the frost line of the house. What products/procedures can you recommend for sealing the interior of the basement walls and hopefully stopping or at least slowing down the mold that's forming?

I used Ben Moore's Kitchen & Bath paint on mine. It has some mildewcide added in, plus I put another shot of mildew/mold inhibitor on my own too. I has held up for 8 years, still looks bright and shiny. I only had small mold spots to start out though, not bad at all.
I appreciate it. This is a pretty good mold problem she has. I'm not sure if Ben Moore is available in Pa. but I will check. Thanks again.
