We will shortly be wiring up 2 refrigeration cases in a super market. Is it possible to run a numbered multicore cable out to the units from the refrigeration control panel with one common single 2.5mm sq earth, or is this not sufficient and we should run another earth.
Thelightsdraw 6A, the fans 4A, and the solenoid 1A for the units combined. Each circuit will be protected by 10A breakers. The units are like fixedappliances with a terminal strip inside

I may get flamed here for this answer but i would run a seperate ground circuit for each unit. I am curious of the correct answer myself but i have always ran a the extra circuit if in doubt.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the OP isn't in the US.

Where are you, exactly?

I,m in Australia.

The refrigeration cases are european. To make it easier I was going to run a multicore out from the control board, but I may just end up running seperate circuits out for the fans, lights and solenoid, even though the case is a fixed appliance.
