I tore out a kitchen today and had to remove lots of dry wall screws. The previous contractor put dry wall screws about every four inches. It was absurd. I had a pack of Milwaukee reduced tip bits that I bought years ago that I didn’t know why they were small and I threw them in the tool box.
I was Using a regular number 2 bit for a while then changed to a reduced bit and it definitely gripped the dry wall screws better.
I wouldn’t have known that without this forum.
