I am just wondering if anyone has had experience with Ray-core and the more typical osb-sided SIP panels?

I have built with Premier before and have a client that is considering it or Ray-Core. he is leaning towards Ray-core primarily because of the substantially greater R-value. and they use less material (or do they?)

any insight from those with comparative experience is greatly appreciated.

I will be looking at a Ray-Core remodel this week. The builder in an engineer and the deciding factor was cost it is his house. The cost is suppose be a lot less that SIPs
It has a high R value per inch higher than EPS.
I will post up what I see and learn as I am considering adding it to my remodeling tools for higher efficiency building.

If you are building in Lake Tahoe, area where fire is an ever present danger as it is here in the Colorado Front Range.
I ask why you don’t consider SCIP Structural Concrete Insulated Panels?
Incredible strength, Spans 30’ flat and 70’ gables, Snow loads, energy savings with thermal mass, 250 mile wind loads, earth quake protection 8.3 (not a big deal in Tahoe) 2-4 hour fire depending on thickness and mix of Portland cement.
