Making slow progress. A lot of manpower not on this job. Some days only 4 of us. Too much other stuff on the go at the same time. 9 working days. Plus some weekend time by myself. Probably averaging 5-5.5 guya per day.
Insides are pretty much cleaned up. 4 landings left. One unit needs a third floor still. Should of already had trusses up

It's almost always floor trusses here. I think I've used TJI's three times in my life and they've been for rafters. Last house we framed 2 months ago was 8k sqft and 80% of it was TJI rafters to steel I beams ridges / valleys. I contemplated saving the web stiffeners for a rainy day, but opted to install them as we cut the rafters to save additional scaffold set up / moving. You're under the house and it's all the same elevation so it's not too bad. Plus we needed 3/4" stiffeners and were using 5/8" for the roof so we wouldn't of had any scraps.

Took us just shy of 8 weeks from start to finish averaging 5 guys a day. I originally asked about your crew size because I'm always curious about how efficient we are compared to other guys.

3rd day, BCI/TJI are back ordered so we built the decks, header package and loaded sub flor plywood and studs. All prepped should go quick View attachment 200098 View attachment 200106 View attachment 200114 View attachment 200122 View attachment 200130

That last picture is throwing me off. Is that all thread going through the edge thickness of that yellow LVL? Seems like that should have been a different connection? I could be totally wrong, last time I was in that sort of predicament I had a hold down on top of bottom plate and then a hold down SDS screwed to face of the LVL and then a piece of all thread connecting the two.

The bolt should pass thru both outside beam and banding beam but there's not enough room so we will add strapping and another HDU offset from the corner

Yeah, I figured there was a detail. Ive just always been Weird about running fasteners through the veneers of LVL.

Btw, I wasn't questioning your ability. I was just curious.
