Ready for rafters on this ranch. I hate these 22' high covered decks.

it is here. whether it's for a garage ceiling with no beams and posts (steel has gotten very expensive, you might have noticed) or a 28' ceiling across the great room/ kitchen, it's the way to go. It also eliminates a lot of extra beams in the floor system. We do it all the time.

Went to pour a slab in a mansion neighbour yesterday (for lack of better term).
The house we did the slab is the one with shingles started... Wicked place.. 13' main floor.. open to above octagon.. 10'x10' skylight and all sorts of other cool features. I was taking mental notes of how they did the bell curves with struts and not actual radius wedges.. Went up on the main roof to check out the deflection to the scuppers. Lots of rippers :censored:
The framed place, i just had to stop and take pics.. Quite a big house with some very clean framing!
