I thought it would be cool to be able to come to one place and view everyones framing, so post away.
Grade is not sea level.I guess timber piling/post is the way to go out on the shore? I recall the timber piling council of america (yes, there was such a thing, I recall!) said that timber pilings were resilient even after 100 years of salt water exposure.
Also, does my eyes deceive me? It looks like its only about 10-12 feet off the ground. I thought FEMA wanted 13ft from the 100 year flood line to get the lowest insurance cost.
Nice helical :thumbup:Originally helped out with the floor and exterior walls on this guys then was off doing my own thing and my buddy called to help install the Windows after the timber framers finished the roof. Tripple glazed fun!.. I'm still a little sore.
What are the footings?A little deck we did this week.
We had to be mountain goats for this one.

This deserves its own thread. No?Haven't posted many pics here in a while. This is our current project. Pool house with 3" thick t&g roof sheathing with 7" foam system over. 60 windows in this bad boy. Cupola on top is 12x28
That's your first post?
We have a lot of that. Just plywood in the corners. It was very popular around here years ago. That and the vegetable board bs.instead of plywood? so weird.
And the award for most random first post goes to?Looks like Manuel delivered those? (red truck) My boss always requests Manuel any time we get trusses from trus-way, he's easily their fastest crane operator.
Been to the store a few times. I actually pass by on 76 on my way to the project I need it for.http://www.diamondtool.net/p/oil/kilfrost-301501-pneumatic-tool-anti-freeze-lubricant
they used to sell it in stores around here but not anymore for some reason.
Where do you get it from?this reminded me to order some Kilfrost oil for this winter. frozen guns/hoses is no fun.
Is the first one in EHT?Here's 3 of my favorite framing jobs, unfortunately, no pics of the actual framing.
