Is r500 a CFC or HCFC? I've seen it listed as both from different sources. Just kind of a stupid detail I'm hung up on studying for EPA 608.

Since no one else has answered yet, R500 is a CFC. Here's a link to a reference guide that has refrigerant classifications and some other good info.
