Client I did a big wall and terrace last year called the other day and wanted me to rebuild his fire pit. I forgot to get "before" picks, but it was just a round pile of rocks. Knocked this out in a day. Me and a helper.

Why are they all small stones on one side and big on the other? Looks pretty so-so.

I guess the main idea for a fire pit is to delineate some area with non flammable material so that you don't set the flammable material in the vicinity on fire.

I think you did an admirable job of achieving this lofty goal!:thumbup:

I like it, the smaller stones could also be used to stop ashes spilling on the grass, like how the grade slopes around it, can picture sitting with the feet up on it, beer in hand,
Good job ( again).

Would be cool to have a gas line in there with the fire coming out of the crushed stone !, nice work as usual!
