How often do paint contractors use epoxy floor coatings or floor paint systems?

That's what I'm wondering Molly as well, it would seam that painters would pick up on this service. Floor prep is priority, but what trades nudge into this category, what about concrete finishers and flooring installers, acrylic coatings(pool decks etc.)

Our company as a general contractor does about 6 residential epoxy projects a year. In our commercial work we might have 2-3 projects a year.

I usually do just a couple of epoxy floor coatings each year.

I don't offer it anymore, the profit margin is very low and the warranty on it is hard to handle if it starts to pull up...

I've had decent luck but only ever averaged 5 or so a yr. I also never did any old concrete, only newer cured pours. Saved the headache of it not holding even after elaborate prep per manufacture guidelines.

Couple of them a year. Stronger, long lasting and at the same time, expensive.
