The one shown here is just about perfect for a small house I am drawing. It will go up to a small loft, and the client wants stairs instead of the loft ladder or alternating tread thing that was proposed.

Who has put an Arcways kit together, and what comments could you make on the end result.

I have installed Arcways railing, with newels and balusters and found that they were very easy to work with. The fasteners that they give you for the newels dont look like they would be strong enough but they work great. Attach the base to the finished floor, or subflorr if its carpeted, cut newel to length, drill hole and screw base attachment to bottom of newel and spin newel on the base. Balusters use the same idea only smaller. They are also a good company to work with
