Has any one seen the homemade pull out storage for a cargo van? I saw somewhere a drawer system that was made out of plywood that you pulled out the back of the van. All your tools and supplies were in this drawer. It looked like it was 4' wide by about 4 to 6 feet deep. Thought I saw it on This Old House in one of Tom Silva's vans.

van storage

I checked it out. It's not what I'm thinking about. This pulls out the back of the van and has 2 fold up legs that helps keep it level. I'm just trying to figure out the best way to store things.

Sounds like nice storage, but you wouldn't be able to load sheet goods on end because of the height. I wanted to make a low false floor for tracks and levels, but decided not to because of this reason. Anyway, just something to think about.

With the pull out drawer you could lay the sheet goods flat on top of the drawer box. the top plywood piece could extend to the walls. I tried to upload a drawing but it didn't work.
